this is me and Angie Bowie at the slipper room on orchard street, circa 2001. I write about this Polaroid in the book. a description is included in one of the fifteen or so interludes that are scattered throughout the narrative so i think it’s cool if it stays here for people who will read the book to see. or something. i wanted to mention that, in addition to blogging, i will periodically post some photos from my research expeditions to london and berlin, etc. here. i will also share notes and documents and observations and maybe outtakes for context. sort of a dvd commentary for the criterion collection that is er… bowie (the book i wroted).
