this is Hal Horowitz, a nice, Jewish boy from Long Island. Hal did the photo research and selection for BOWIE. he got the gig over over others who DO NOT dress up like David for Halloween. With the greatest holiday of them all fast approaching along with the release date, we are encouraging Bowie fans and readers of the blog to send jpegs of yourself (yourselves?) dressed up like the man. From whatever period you like, Flight of the Conchords style. If the Goblin King is your bag, and not the Thin White Duke, let’s see it. If you are more of a Screamin’ Lord Byron man (or woman) bring that shit. If you’re dressed like Tin Machine in a goatee and suit… we might accuse you of cheating by submitting your Robert DeNiro in Heat costume instead… and we will know!
