Interview mp3

i’ve blogged about this before. it’s an interview i did with a british dj about

black randy and the metrosquad’s pass the dust… album. the show’s aired and above = the link.

am halfway through a 1974 biography of Jagger by anthony scaduto. it’s great.

clean, confident, writing. brave even. i’m going to buy his dylan book. these were basically the first

serious rock bios. the dylan one is from ’72. it’s an old copy, my jagger book. a library copy, bought on ebay and someone

has whited over the curse words. am also reading the new book about david foster wallace. it’s basically one essay and a very long transcript, but

i like reading transcripts. lord knows i’ve read through enough of my own. david foster wallace

subscribed to cosmo because he found dating advice features soothing. i subscribe to vogue

because i always had it in the back of my head that i should start pitching them and never do.

same with playboy. for the articles. the only DFW that i’ve read was the lobster essay, but i might try to

rad infinite jest after this. then ulysses. i mean, i have no social life now so why not?  i can’t even

go outside because i sneeze so much my shoulders hurt and my wrists tingle. reform school kids should come read to me

for community service, i’m so old and sick and demented. usually it lifts around may but i swear

i'm leaving nyc on easter sunday next year and not coming back till fucking
july 4. i'll go to arizona.
